I didn’t set out to build a company.
I set out to solve a problem I kept hitting.
It started simply enough. Something needed fixing, I called a few contractors, and I got quotes back. But the quotes didn’t line up — not just the price, but the scope. One included permits. One didn’t. One had a line item for disposal, another bundled it in, a third didn’t mention it at all. The cheapest quote turned out to be missing half the work.
I spent hours cross-referencing everything — Google, YouTube, forums — just trying to understand what was actually supposed to be included. Not whether the price was fair. Just what the job was.
Eventually I figured it out. But I kept thinking: I shouldn’t have to do this. And most people can’t.
